Hydra Kingdoms

In the Unknown Past, the seven great human kingdoms were united and ruled by Overking Tahnan. The Overking arrayed all the human kingdoms around his central lands, a small parcel foritifed with legendary defense and an enormous castle.

The Overking styled his kingdoms as the seven heads of a hydra, stemming from the central body of The Overking's Castle. The Overking also assigned the kingdoms with heraldry according to traditional numerology:

1. Concoddte

2. Rillillend

3. Nurmonen

4. Oaavura

5. Xephenes

6. Gresht

7. Uighiers

After the death of the final Overking, the Hydra monarchs resumed their powre struggles. After years of futile war and attempts to gain entrance to the Overking's Castle, the exhausted monarchs called a truce and declared the Overking's rule dissolved. The old names stayed though, and the Hydra Kingdoms continue to this day.
